Mt. Kilimanjaro sits top among the ‘bucket list’ of many people’s profile. It’s considered a great feat and many who’ve conquered it reminisce of the great time they had with a nostalgic glitter in their eyes! The Marangu route(also known as Coca-cola) is considered to be the easiest and most popular route to reach the Uhuru Peak(5,896m) and normally takes a minimum of 5days (plus 2 for travelling to and from Kenya ,thus 7days in total)

Adequate mental and physical preparedness is required before the climb so as to ensure the trek is more of a fun-challenge than a torturous lifetime memory!

 Guides, cooks and porters while on the mountain
 Mountain hut/bandas accommodation
 Accommodation in Arusha on bed and breakfast basis(2 nights)

Day 1: Nairobi – Arusha

Depart Nairobi for Arusha at 8am, expected to be in Arusha town by afternoon. Check into the hotel, have late lunch then relax as you sort your gear and prepare for tomorrow’s departure. You’ll then have a meeting with your guides in the evening/late afternoon for the final briefing. Overnight in Arusha

Day 2 : Arusha-Marangu -Mandara Hut

Departure from Arusha after Breakfast, and head to Marangu gate for registration and the beginning of the Kilimanjaro climb. Ascent to Mandara Hut. The climb to Mandara hut trek lasts between (4-5 hours) through a very beautiful rainforest with waterfalls, streams and other natural attractions. Picnic lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at Mandara hut. (Mandara Hut - 2,743m)

Day 3: Mandara Hut To Horombo Hut

After Breakfast, we emerge from the Forest to open moorlands and the first views of Kibo taking about 5 to 7 hours depending on your pace to Horombo Hut(3,720m). Picnic lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at Horombo hut (Horombo Hut -3700M)

Day 4: Horombo Hut - Kibo Hut-Uhuru Summit

Breakfast at Horombo, then we move up past the "Last Water" to emerge on the saddle - a spectacular view of the high altitude desert, past Mawenzi peak(3rd highest peak in Africa) to Kibo hut(4700m). Trekking time is (5-7 hours) depending on your pace. This day, we shall have dinner at about 5pm and sleep by 6pm because we need to wake up at 10.30pm for our ascent to the summit. Wake up at 10.30pm, have coffee & biscuits, then Leave Kibo hut at 11pm for the summit. It is a slow steep ascent to the summit but you walk slowly as the air gets thinner. You’ll pass by Gillman’s crater rim(5860m). Then head on to Uhuru Peak(5896m) probably by sunrise. The ascend from Kibo hut to Uhuru Peak takes about 8hrs

Day 5 : Uhuru Peak- Horombo Hut

As the sun smiles on Africa for the first time this day, You’ll be standing atop Africa’s highest point! Uhuru Peak(5,896m) Enjoy breathtaking views from atop Africa’s roof, brief photo session at the Uhuru summit, then descend further down past Kibo hut to Horombo hut(You’ll stop at Kibo hut for a light lunch before proceeding to Horombo). Dinner and Overnight at (Horombo Hut 3720M)

Day 6: Horombo Hut - Marangu Gate – Arusha

Breakfast at Horombo hut, then we trek further down to Mandara hut for lunch, before proceeding on to Marangu gate. You’ll get your certificates of accomplishment before exiting Kilimanjaro and proceed to Arusha. Overnight in Arusha

Day 7: Arusha- Nairobi

Breakfast at the hotel & transfer back to Nairobi via the shuttle bus. Expected to get back to Nairobi by afternoon/evening
