The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Visitors to the park in the June to November dry season can expect to see large herds of thousands of zebra, wildebeest and cape buffalo. There is a visit to a local banana beer brewery, farms, cycling to the shores of Lake Manyara. After having a local delicious lunch, we enter into Lake Manyara National Park for afternoon game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is known for the flamingos that inhabit the lake. During the wet season they inhabit the edges of the lake in flocks of thousands but they are not so present during the dry season. More than 400 species of birds inhabit the park and many remain throughout the year. Because of this Lake Manyara National Park is a good spot for bird watching. Visitors to the park can expect to see upwards of 100 different species of bird on any day.[3] Leopards, lions, cheetahs, elephants, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelles, hippopotami, Masai giraffe, impala, zebras and many more wild animals inhabit this park and many can be seen throughout the year. There is a hippo pond at one end of the park where visitors can get out of their cars and observe from a safe distance. DAY 3: MANYARA / SERENGETI NP: 205 KM / 05 HOURS

There is an option of passing through the Olduvai Gorge Museum where the famous archeologists Dr. Leaky and his Wife discovered the early fosils of mankind. Serengeti National Park, in northern Tanzania, is known for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Seeking new pasture, the herds move north from their breeding grounds in the grassy southern plains. Many cross the marshy western corridor’s crocodile-infested Grumeti River. Others veer northeast to the Lobo Hills, home to black eagles. Black rhinos inhabit the granite outcrops of the Moru Kopjes. We drive to our tented camp for diner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp.

DAY 4: SERENGEIT NP – FULL DAY OF GAME DRIVE

Today we spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti National park. Serengeti never disappoints as it is has all year round game. “Serengeti shall not die” is the title of Bernhard and Michael Grzimek’s academy award-winning 1959 documentary. The Serengeti ecosystem is a world-renowned natural landscape. The Great Migration of the wildebeest, zebras and Thomson's gazelles is the largest ungulate migration on earth. With resilient populations of predators and iconic wildlife such as elephants, giraffes and rhinos, the Serengeti National Park is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER / LAKE EYASI – 75KM / 2 HOURS

After breakfast, descend into the crater floor for a half day of game drive. Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera.[12] The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 metres (2,000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometres (100 square miles) Besides the stunning scenery, one of the main attractions of this area is the variety of flora and fauna found in a remarkably compact area all year round. The mineral-rich floor of this spectacular bowl is largely flat, open and covered in nutritious grasses – much to the liking of large herds of zebra and wildebeest, which graze here. These extensive open plains are also home to herds of buffalo, Thomson's gazelle, Grant's gazelle and tsessebe (often called topi). Later drive to Lake Eyasi for diner and overnight at Ziwani Eyasi Lodge.

DAY 7: LAKE EYASI / ARUSHA / DEPARTURE: 245 KM / 5 hours

Today we go hunting with the Bushmen. The Bushmen (also known as the Wahadzabe tribe) still maintain their traditional hunter-gatherer way of life. A visit to the village will be led by a local guide who will describe their lifestyle. The Bushmen will make fire from sticks and will show you their very few belongings. They will take you on a simulated hunt in the area with their bows and arrows, and visitors can try a little target practice. The visit concludes with a traditional singing and dancing. In the rainy season, they live in caves, and in the dry season, they live in the trees and bushes. Homes are marked by upright sticks in a semi-circle. Beds and floor mats are hides from kudu and impala. The men hunt for wild animals and birds with bows and arrows. There are different arrows for different types of animals. Poisoned arrows are used for large animals. They also eat honey, tubers out of the ground, and fruits from the Baobab tree. In the dry season, they must dig down in the dry river bed to find water. We later drive back to Arusha for drop off at Kilimanjaro International airport for your flight out.
