Day 1: Nairobi -Masai Mara:
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive towards the escarpment (stopping to enjoy views of the rift valley) and down the floor of the Great Rift Valley via Narok town to the Masai Mara. Lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at tented camp/lodge
Day 2: Masai Mara:
A full day experiencing the Mara magic – Kenya’s premier reserve famed for its astounding concentration of game through morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight again at a tented camp/lodge.
Alternatively spend the entire day on a game drive (with packed lunches) returning to the camp in the early evening hours.
Optional balloon ride and/or Masai village visit.
Day 3: Mara drive to Naivasha
An early breakfast and proceed to Lake Naivasha. Afternoon spent at leisure or may do optional activities. Overnight at Lake Naivasha country club.
There are many optional activities you can do around Naivasha [payable direct], which includes: A visit to Hells gate national park for a challenging gorge walk, may hire bikes and cycle the park, rock climbing or swimming at the Ol-karia geothermal hot spa; A visit to Elsamere conservation centre; boat excursion to the crescent island walk; crater lake walk; a visit to lake Oloiden and Mt. Longonot hike- the choice is yours- weather permitting.
Day 4: Naivasha- Amboseli
Depart Naivasha in the morning via Nairobi and drive to Amboseli. Lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa lodge.
Day 5: Amboseli:
Day spent game viewing through morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa lodge.
Optional Masai village visit.
Day 6: Amboseli- Tarangire national park
Depart early in the morning with a game enroute towards the Namanga border and Arusha with picnic lunch, to arrive Tarangire in the afternoon. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp.
Day 7: Tarangire to Karatu:
We spend the day viewing game at Tarangire national park. We later proceed to Karatu for overnight.
Optional farm tour or nature walk
Day 8: Karatu-Serengeti National Park:
We drive via Ngorongoro conservation to Serengeti. We view game enroute to the central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at tented camp or lodge
Day 9 &10: Serengeti National Park
Full day game viewing in the central Serengeti though morning and afternoon gamedrive. Overnight again at a lodge/tented camp
Optional balloon ride.
Day 11: Serengeti National Park- Ngorongoro
After early breakfast, we depart viewing game enroute as we exit the park gate and drive southeast up to Ngorongoro Conservation via Olduvai Gorge. Overnight a lodge/tented camp.
Day 12: Ngorongoro crater tour- karatu
We start refreshingly early to enjoy a full morning’s crater tour as we have a greater chance of seeing wildlife at this early hour. later proceed to karatu. Diner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp.
Day 13: Manyara Park – Arusha
Early morning we visit Manyara national park for a game drive before driving to Arusha for overnight at a hotel.
Day 14: Arusha- Nairobi
After early breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight back to Nairobi.
Alternatively may board a shared shuttle bus and travel back to Nairobi. End of services.
