Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha have wonderful variety of wildlife from the huge graceful elephants in Masai Mara to the small unusual birds and Rhinos around Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha.
Masai Mara is an opportunity to see the ‘Big Five’ in their entire splendor while Lake Nakuru and Lake naivasha are great with variety of birds and are NOT TO BE MISSED by bird lovers. The boat ride at Lake Naivasha is interesting way of watching the birds alongside the hippos among other fine game spotted at the shores of this bountiful lake. The terrain in the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru is a great contrast. Masai Mara has vast flat plains whilst Nakuru has a lake surrounded by forest and rocky cliffs.

Naivasha has other wonderful activities to be enjoyed by all age groups, whether children, young adults, school groups or senior citizens, will always find something interesting to do around the area. The activities may range from light adventure to strenuous ones enjoyed out of vehicle.

Day 1:  Nairobi -Masai Mara
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning and drive towards the escarpment (stopping to enjoy views of the rift valley) and down the floor of the Great Rift Valley via Narok town (the Masai district town). Lunch, followed by afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena lodge or Enkorok Mara camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara
Full day spent exploring the park through early morning and late afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Lodge a lodge or luxury tented camp.

There is abundant wildlife everywhere you go such as lion, leopards, buffalo, antelopes, Dik-dik, hippos, giraffes, Cheetahs, hyena and many more. Bird life is also terrific with over 450 recorded bird species. It interesting to experience the annual wildebeest migration in July through October where animals move in patterns in search of pastures.

Day 3: Mara-Nakuru
Early morning game drive as you exit the park gate and proceed to Nakuru national park. Lunch will be served en-route, early evening game drive is undertaken. We overnight at one the lodges or luxury tented camps.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park- Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, we embark on a morning game drive before driving to Naivasha. Afternoon will be spent on optional activities or may relax at the pool. Overnight stay at a lodge or luxury tented camp.

Lake Nakuru is a relatively Small Park located about 160 km from Nairobi with fabulous wildlife watching and birdlife, ideal for all and most suitable for families with small children. It’s famous due to its abundant birdlife and the endangered rhino [both black and white rhino] which are easily spotted on the grassy forefront.

You may encounter a leopard in the yellow wood acacia which is an excellent encounter sadly very rare, black & white colobus monkey, other wildlife includes reedbuck, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and other antelopes are easily seen on the tracks. You may also spot large python. There are flocks of white pelican and other water birds.

Malaika fall is an impressive waterfall [cascade of water] at the furthest corner of the park

Day 5: Lake Naivasha- Nairobi

Spend the morning at leisure or may do optional activities [payable direct]. After lunch drive back to Nairobi for drop off

There are many optional activities you can do around Naivasha which are payable direct, which includes:  A visit to Hells gate national park for a challenging gorge walk weather dependent, cycling, rock climbing or swimming at the Ol-karia geothermal hot spa; A visit to Elsamere conservation centre; boat excursion to the crescent island walk; crater lake walk; a visit to lake Oloiden and Mt. Longonot hike- the choice is yours – time & weather permitting
