Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Baringo
We pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drive on the floor of rift valley. We stop the escarpment for breathtaking views of the valley & the surroundings before driving past Lake Naivasha and Lake Elementaita to arrive Lake Baringo in the afternoon. Late afternoon guided short walks on the lake shores for birds viewing. We overnight at soi safari lodge or Tumbili cliff lodge.

 

Day 2: Baringo to Lake Nakuru national park
We are woken by the beautiful sounds of different birds ready for a morning boat excursion to explore the area as you view birds, look out for hippos and crocodiles. Later drive to Lake Nakuru in good time for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa lodge or Sarova lion hill lodge.

Lake Nakuru is among Kenya’s finest parks flanked by rocky escarpment. The tracks are easy to navigate and hence offers easy viewing of most wildlife such as warthogs, baboons, impalas, exceptionally high densities of endangered black and white rhinos on the grassy foreground, Rothschild’s giraffe, Waterbuck, lion and sometimes leopards in the acacia woods. Birdlife is also abundant, most notably flocks pelicans, kingfisher, herons, eagles, storks etc. There is also few quantities of flamingos (the numbers have dwindled due to fluctuating water level)

Day 3 Lake Nakuru- Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we embark on a short morning game drive and bird watching at Lake Nakuru national park.  Before driving to Lake Naivasha with a brief stop (if you missed to stop on the first day) at Lake Elementaita viewpoint for amazing views of the lake and beautiful sceneries in the vicinity. Afternoon we take a boat ride and a guided walk among animals at Crescent Island and for bird watching at the shores of the lake.

Other optional activities includes a visit to Hells gate national park for cycling and a challenging walk if time and weather allows.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

After breakfast, drive further south to Masai Mara. Late afternoon game drive through the park in search of wildlife such as; Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or luxury tented camp.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve 
Full day spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or luxury tented camp.

The park is famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, game, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration
All members of the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, African elephant, African buffalo, and Black Rhinoceros) are found in the Masai Mara National Reserve, over450 recorded bird species in Masai Mara

Day 6. Masai Mara – Nairobi 
Early morning game drives then proceed to Nairobi to arrive by 1600 hrs .Drop off at your Nairobi hotel
