This 7-day tour/safari visits some of Kenya’s most iconic and picturesque locations, including Mt. Kenya, Ol Pejeta, Naivasha, Mara, and Loita. The journey begins with a scenic drive to Mt. Kenya, where you can explore the region’s natural beauty and breathtaking landscapes. Following that, you will visit Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is home to the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and a chance to see the “Big Five” animals.

The tour then takes you to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and a walking safari. The journey then continues to the Masai Mara Reserve, one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. You will see the spectacular wildebeest migration and a variety of wildlife species here.

Finally, the tour concludes with a visit to the Loita Hills, where you will have the opportunity to interact with the Maasai people and learn about their way of life. Throughout the safari, you will have the opportunity to see incredible wildlife, stunning landscapes, and learn about Kenya’s rich culture and traditions.

Day 1: Nairobi, Mt Kenya nature walk 

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Mt, Kenya with Your picnic lunches and drive up to Naromoru park gate where you will start the nature walk in the forest. Here you have chances of seeing the rare white and black Colobus monkey, blue monkey, water bucks, several spices of mountain birds and interesting species of wild flowers in the tropical rain forest. Also there are chances of seeing the peaks [depending on the weather of the day]. We descend back to Naromoru park gate for a drive to lodge/ camp for overnight.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta -Lake Naivasha

Depart after breakfast to the equator & to Ol-pejeta conservancy for an early morning to see the wildlife including chimps.

Early afternoon depart for Lake Naivasha through the floor of rift valley [optional brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls- payable direct] to arrive for dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha country club.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha

Full day spent doing optional activities [Payable direct]. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha country club.

There are many optional activities you can do around Naivasha [payable direct -time permitting.] which includes:

–           A visit to Hells gate national park for a challenging gorge walk[weather dependent] or may hire bikes & cycle around  the park, rock climbing and/or swimming at the Ol-karia geothermal hot spa

–           A visit to Elsamere conservation centre for born free movie & high tee.

–           Boat ride including a guided walk at Crescent Island

–           Crater Lake walk or hike.

–           Mt. Longonot hike and a walk around the crater rim

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve after an early breakfast. Lunch, followed by an afternoon game viewing in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at Enkorok Mara camp.

Day 5: Masai Mara:

A full day experiencing the Mara magic – Kenya’s premier reserve famed for its astounding concentration of game through morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Enkorok Mara camp

Alternatively spend the entire day on a game drive (with packed lunches) returning to the camp in the early evening hours.

Masai Mara is famous for its excellent chance of seeing the Big Five (lion, leopard, African elephant, African buffalo, and Black Rhinoceros) and other game, over 450 bird species have recorded in Masai Mara.  Cheetahs patrol its open grasslands and leopard haunt the shady forests beside the Mara and Talek rivers.

Optional horseback riding, balloon ride and/or Masai village visit

Day 6: Masai Mara to Loita

Depart Masai Mara after breakfast to Loita hills for guided nature walks, Masai Cultural briefing with fire making presentation “Maasai style” included as well is free use of a quality, 24 speed mountain bikes with front suspension. Followed by winding down the day with camp fire stories. Overnight at a camp

Day: 7 Loita drive back Nairobi

After breakfast and before departure, Maasai Warrior training; measuring skills in Sasol stick fighting, spear throwing and archery will be organized. Later drive back to Nairobi.
