Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Coming in to land in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative and handles your transfer to the Tamarind Tree Hotel booked on bed and breakfast, the legendary starting point for Grand Safaris since the days of the earliest explorers. Day 2: Nairobi – Drive to Amboseli National Park

Breakfast will be served at the hotel followed by a safari briefing on the adventures a head. After the briefing, you will depart for a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park; you will drive overland through Kamba land dotted with circular houses and few shopping centers as well as Masai land. Amboseli National Park is truly a photographer’s paradise which is situated at the foot of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro and it is the highest mountain in Africa as well as the highest free standing mountain in the world and also a sumptuous snow-capped mountain. Enjoy a leisurely drive arriving at Kibo Safari camp in time for lunch followed by some leisure hours for a siesta/ swim. Depart at around 16:00 Hours for an afternoon game viewing and return back to the camp before sunset. The park has large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions and a variety of other animals and birds all of which are attracted to this park due to its permanent supply of water from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s melting snow. It has a prolific elephant population which makes the experience even more fantastic and great photo taking moments. Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Lake Naivasha & Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary

Moving on to the Great Rift Valley, you’ll overland to the papyrus-fringed Lake Naivasha, a cool and peaceful escape from Amboseli National Park arriving at Naivasha Simba in time for lunch. Here you’ll take a water safari, sailing past hippos and enjoying views of the abundant birdlife populating this freshwater lake. With over 400 species of bird, this freshwater lake is a birding Paradise. Along the lake’s fabled waters, we are bound to see some of the area’s more intriguing species—hippos, giraffes, buffalo and even the arboreal Columbus monkey. Lake Naivasha lies in the Great Rift Valley and the name derives from the local Masai name Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise. After lunch we visit Crescent island — a private sanctuary, where you can walk beneath yellow-barked acacias (yellow fever trees) in search of Giraffes, Wildebeest , Impala , Dikdiks, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, Elands, Waterbucks and countless bird species. Oh, and there are some rather gigantic pythons too! We are allowed to walk with the animals since all were introduced during the filming of Out of Africa. An optional boat ride on the lake reveals many water bird species and schools of Hippos. All meals and Overnight at Naivasha Simba Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara Game Reserve

After a leisure breakfast at Naivasha Simba Lodge. We’re off to Masai Mara Game Reserve-jewel of Kenya’s Game Park and this will be the big finale of your adventure tour the King of safari destinations. The world famous Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well spread rainfall year round. The sensation of the great wildebeest migration between July and October is unparalleled. The wildlife is far from being confined within the Reserve boundaries and an even larger area extends beyond the game Reserve. Centuries of close association with the wildlife has resulted in an almost symbiotic relationship where wildlife and Masai people live in peace with one another. After lunch at Mara Simba Lodge, explore the Reserve on a late evening ‘Spice’ game drive. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected—the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape buffalo are in abundance. Day 5: Discover Masai Mara Game Reserve

This very day we will be spending in the vast eco-system of the Mara searching for the big five and much more. The Mara is a stunning eco-system with its vast savannah, accented with acacia trees. You also have an optional balloon safari — Many call it a once in a life time experience, once you are up, you won’t want to come down, and once you land, champagne breakfast awaits you. Note you can  opt to have an early morning game drives with picnic breakfast or have an early breakfast and depart with picnic lunch thus having the entire day for game drives returning back at the lodge before dark falls. Maasai Village visit will be opt at an extra US$ 30 per person. Game viewing is great from the air with the opportunity for beautiful pictures. The annual wildebeest migration is expected in the Masai Mara between July and early November. Millions of animals migrate to the Mara from Serengeti in search for fresh green pastures and water. It’s worth noting that every game drive is different from the other, and missing one is missing out on the fun. Later in the evening return to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Masai Mara – Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park

Today we travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. The game in this Park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renown and over 400 birds’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Dinner and Overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru – Drive to Nairobi

our day starts with an early breakfast followed by a game drive where we can see hundreds of thousands of flamingo’s canopy the shallow edges of Lake Nakuru. Pelicans and hundreds of other bird species will be seen. Possible to see includes both the black and white rhino, lions, warthogs, antelopes, baboons and many other animals. We return to the Hotel before lunch, freshen up, enjoy lunch, check-out of our lodge/camp and depart for Nairobi by road. A leisurely scenic 3 Hour drive brings us to Nairobi, arriving late afternoon  (between 1700 Hours-1800 Hours) at the Famous Carnivore restaurant for a Complimentary dinner. We transfer you to the airport for your outbound flight marking the end of the safari.
